Vive Tracker PopoPin trigger in UE 5.3

does anyone know how to get the input from the pogopins with unreal 5.3 and openxr?
I can get it to work in unreal 5.2 with steamvr, but it doesn´t do anything with openxr in 5.3.

I could never get the pogo pin inputs working under OpenXR when I implemented my own Vive tracker plugin. Not sure if I remember correctly, but I think I saw a Valve employee mentioning them only working if the roles are set to the left/right hands.
