vertical refresh rate

I was wondering if there was an OpenGL function that gets the vertical refresh rate. If not, is there an X Windows functions that does it?


There is no OpenGL function for that simply because its irrevelant for OpenGL anyway ( I cant think of a case where I would care about the current refresh rate).

Why do you need to worry about it?

Or, are you asking how to calculate the frames per second?

Just tell the user to check it manually
