Vertex/fragment compiler

We’re a group of students at The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) currently working with OpenGL ESSL. Our task is to create a compiler for the vertex and fragment shader (OpenGL ESSL 2.0). We would appreciate if anyone can point us to resources on the web!
