proper forum for ...

hi all,
I’m looking for a proper forum for talking about a common problem that follows opengl programming but is not strictly part of it …
I’ve found a generel solution to splitting a polygon_with_islands and would be keen to talk to others that’s ‘been there’.
Am I correct in assuming that opengl ver 4.x provides a kind of solution (as well as GLUT)?


I don’t think so. GLU has tessellation of complex polygons (which is unrelated to 4.x tessellation shaders).
