OpenGL Program Performance


I have seen the OpenGL Screensavers provided by Microsoft, for example, 3D Maze or 3D Pipes. Those screensavers have very nice speed performance, but when I create an OpenGL screensaver, it runs very slow like it doesn’t know how to update the screen smoothly (or it jitters). Does anyone have a clue why this is happening?
