Hi All,
Im using a model made in maya and have it successfully exported in the .obj format.
What I was looking for is somebody who has sample code I can use to read in the obj and output it in an opengl window.
Can anybody help with this problem.
Please let me know

You can look up the format specification here: http://www.wotsit.org/
And here’s Nate Robin’s code to load and display OBJ files: http://www.xmission.com/~nate/smooth/smooth.zip
A couple of more links. First, shame on your for not checking the homepage of everybody’s favorite übergeek:
http://astronomy.swin.edu.au/~pbourke/dataformats/obj/
source for reading obj
http://www.sgi.com/products/software/opengl/examples/more_samples/zip/smooth.zip
Cheers,
thanks to both your replys I got the obj reading in just fine now.
Not familiar with the ubergeeks website maybe u can send me the link and I will look it up
