I’m trying to simulate an airport approach lighting system in bad visibility conditions.
The problem is that I can’t find a way to simulate those lights attenuation in the fog.
If I choose additive blending, the lights are quickly dimmed because the fog is already almost white.
But if I choose alpha blending, the visibility is correct but it doesn’t look like lights anymore…
Is there any other blending mode that could fit ?
I guess HDR is an option but my final image will be projected and I don’t know if HDR looks realistic when projected.
Any idea about this ?
