Hi please help me, im a bit of a novice at opengl. I made a simple texture bouncing program, nothing complicated, just a texture moving round the screen and when it gets to an edge it changes direction, etc… The problem is when the texture is moving it kind of jerks/shakes, like its trying to get ahead of itself. Anyone know how to make it move smoothly or maybe im doing something wrong, im using Ortho perspective at the moment, might that be the causes?
Do you have vertical sync enabled?
Mmmm not sure dont think so. How can I do that?
Try forcing it in your graphics control panel (Catalyst for ATI, Nvidia Control Panel for Nvidia).
