help: glut and WinME - please....§:0(,

Hi there,

I have a strange problem with glut. I have installed glut my home pc exactly in the same way that I have installed by my pc at my office (at office it works fine).

Just the diference is that at home my pc is WinME (AMD Athlon 1.2GHz) instead of windowsNT (Pentium3 700MHz). I am using MSVC++. When I compile, I have no errors. When I try to debug or to run, comes the problem:

\Programme\DevStudio\VC\LIB\GLut32.lib:fatal error LNK1106
error to run link.exe

I don’t know more what can I do. I have tryed yet for a long time without any solution.

Could someone let me some hints, please…§:0). Thnx in advance

“Invalid file or disk full”

If you have your application on a network drive and you link lot’s of object files this might be the problem.

Check your disk for free space, temp directories and so on.

If all failes, run a check on your disk, you might have a bad block.



Thnx by your reply. I will look on your suggestion. But I don’t know if the problem couldn’t be because I am using the lastest glut version with a compiler MSVC++ 5.0 - Do you know if there is some compatibility problem ? i.e. if the lastest glut version run only with MSVC++ 6.0 ?
