GLW_StartOpenGL() - could not load OpenGL subsystem

I have upgraded a nVidia 16mb TNT card to a GeForce MX2 MX400 64mb card. I have been using Return to Castle Wolfenstein game. I used to have no issues on my Home Editon of XP. Now I keep getting these errors regarding OpenGL. Any ideas on how to correct this? I have examined the Activision.com support web site and did not find a solution.

ditto to the above problems,i’ve updated drivers, tried to load 3 different versions of open gl and yet still get the above error message. i gotta play medal of honor, or i’ll go nuts !!

I found the obvious answer… use Windows 2000 Drivers…duh… I need a nap or something… my brain is slowing down. It of course was a driver issue. Windows XP does not come with OpenGL code, so you need to get Windows 2000 Drivers, which will come with the OpenGL. Now Return to Castle Wolfenstein works fine now.

I found the answer on this board on a previous posting seems this is a very common problem and NO it is not a driver problem. Check out this link and you’ll be good to go. http://www.uq.net.au/~zzmbisho/how_to_fix-OpenGL-Subsystem.html

Tried that, but diddn’t work… Anyone else plz? 8(

go to http://www.nvidia.com/view.asp?PAGE=windows2000 then dowload the first file of 6,44 mb.

Should be able to work now
