Glut and DirectX 8.0

I do not know if this is a good idea to mix both of them in one program, but it would be very convenient in my case. To create the device for Direct3D I need a handler on the glut window, which is already open by the time I use Direct3D. How can I get the HWND on the glut window?

I do not think that would be a good idea, you cannot mix OpenGL (at least not doublebuffered) with any other GDI/DirectX output)
