Can OpenGl return to coordinates that a point was drawn to on the 2d view surface?

First off, I am new to OpenGL. I am currently using OpenGL with C#.NET & VB.NET

I was wondering. I supply to OpenGL the x,y,z of a coordinate. I then rotate the camera so OpenGL figures where to draw the point in relation to its location and camera lookat. Can I get the location on the drawing surface that this point was drawn to?
