I am trying to make a strategy game. “Trying” being the key word.
At the same time, I’m learning OpenGL. It has been dawning on me that I really need routines for reading in a standard model format, lest I want to write my own 3D modeler, which I don’t. Even better, I need some sort of animation system, which I believe is often part of the model format. Can anybody direct me someplace, or at least say how they do their modelling format?? Thanks!!
