UV-movement (Flow Visualization)

I recently started working with the Collada format, and I am just wondering, is it possible to set the UV-movement of textures for an Collada file before its imported to the platform of choice?

Example, for water, would it be possible to set the UV movement of the texture on the mesh before they get imported on a Game platform?

Do you mean that you want to store the animation of texture coordinates in COLLADA?
