Skin and Mesh

I seem to be looking for some written indication in the spec that the vertex indices of the skin element are actually 1-to-1 mapped to the vertices (positions) of the mesh element. I can’t find it, and so am assuming that this is true…

But, the comment that a controller (skin) may be used to control multiple meshes would seem to (potentially) contradict that.

Can someone clarify this? May I trust my first assumption? Did I just miss it in the doc?


Yes currently the skin and mesh are isomorphic.

I’ll make a note that the spec needs some clarification on this issue. Thanks for the bug report!
