Max exporters not identifying joints

I noticed the Max exporters are not setting the ‘type’ attribute of a <node> to “JOINT” like the Maya exporters do. Isn’t this required?

Which version of the Max exporters did you try? All versions of ColladaMax export the type attributes. I just verified that with the latest version: 1.04, that is the case.

Also, the type attribute is marked optional in the schema, so it is legal COLLADA to have a skin include a visual scene node, within its joint list source, that isn’t marked as a joint. As such, the ‘type’ attribute for the visual scene node is not very useful information.
