made a robotic arm and my own serial controller. how to interface????


i’m lost on this one. i made a control box with knobs that connects to the computer through the serial port. the knobs are to control the joints in the robot arm, which was programmed in openGL.

the control box will send 10bit data depending on how far the knob is rotated. anyone know how to interface the two??? i have no idea where to start. i’d appreciate any kind of help.
