Anari suitable for real time VR?

We are developing a game engine and are in the process of defining the interface between renderer and the rest of the engine. Would Anari be a suitable interface for this?
Does Anari has support for real time VR rendering? If not, will this be added in the future?
Maybe Anari is not yet suitable for this, we could define an interface close to Anari so that we can switch easily to Anari when it does support such a use case. So, is real time VR a goal of Anari?
Any thoughts on this?
