WMV shader?


I’m trying to write a program that opens/reads a wmv file and has a shader that manipulates the individual frames of the file.

I’ve downloaded and installed the Windows Media Format SDK, but am having trouble using it and its documentation.

Does anyone know of any good resources that describe how to manipulate wmv files?


You can use DirectShow to do that. VMR9 in DirectShow can render a frame to a d3d surface.
