Will Opengl work on a PAVILION M50 on ATI 264-VT4 (ENGLISH (DIRECTX) video card? I tried using Glsetup and it did not recofnize my videocard!~

This means the VT4 does NOT accelerate 3d graphics at all, neighter OpenGL nor Direct3d.

You are stuck to software OpenGL I am afraid.
