I plan to buy a computer with a graphics card that has a Linux driver,
but where do I get an OpenGL library? Can I count on the Linux driver
for the card working with the Open GL library, where ever it comes from?
nvidia supplies a (closed source, I believe) OpenGL implementation for their cards.
All (most?) other cards rely on Mesa + DRI.
See http://dri.sourceforge.net and http://www.mesa3d.org/ for more info.
