What to use (octrees, quadtress, BSP) ???

I m making a 3D simulation engine, mainly dealing with outdoor (terrain-based) maps and since im a just a beginner, i need some advice as to wat algorithm/technique to use for culling and stuff.

I’d recommend checking out the tutorials at http://www.gametutorials.com as they offer several tutorials that should help answer your question.

Also, you’re more likely to get help by posting these type questions in the Coding forums, instead of the hardware/gaming help forum.
