Does anyone know how OpenGL and VRML complement each other or vice-versa and how to implement it?
VRML was derived from OpenInventor, which is a SGI C++ framework for scene graphs based on OpenGL. It was designed for 3D models across the internet but hasn’t taken off yet (if ever). It can be a useful file format for storing your models. If you use OpenInventor, the link between it and VRML is very strong.
