Unreal Tournament: OpenGL or D3D?

Neither - Glide . . . .

. . . That’s what UT was designed and built around . . . on Glide it’ll even run on a plain Voodoo 1.

But if you ain’t got a 3Dfx card I would have to say D3D - I know people who have had problems with the OpenGL drivers, but it all depends on the card . . . If you can get OpenGL to run use it . . . D3D is too liable to lock the computer if/when it crashes . . .

Yeah, i would recommend D3D too…

It loads up VERY quickly, unlike the opengl version. Resolution change and the lot is a lot quicker too…

It depends on your tolerance for the dotty image quality of D3D though…
