how can i use direct rendering with my card?. Or what can i do to use hardware acceleration.
What version of Linux do you have? What type of graphics card?
Install the driver for your card and setup the configuration file (e.g. XF86Config).
For nVIDIA, can get driver at http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp
There is no driver available for that chip. However, some people were working on a driver . That effort seems to have stalled. If you got coding skillz, I’m sure you could help.

If that trident chip really comes from Trident (which is dead years ago if I’m not wrong) asking for a GL driver is a joke.
There’s no GL driver for that.
As for standard drivers, I guess every VGA driver will work fine.
