Timestamp query vs chrono clock

Hello, on MS Windows 10/11
Which is the recommended between timestamp query or std::chrono clock
to get precise, uninterrupted movement of objects ?

The two are unrelated. C++ clocks measure time on the CPU; timestamp queries measure the time on the GPU. Specifically, timestamp queries measure the time at which certain GPU operations take place. You cannot use a C++ clock to measure that.

Hello, Alfonse
Thank you. I understand what you mean
std::chrono is much easier, so I will use chrono clock to do movements of objects on the screen
Have a nice day, Alfonse
