please help

i want to make opengl programs under dos. Please can you explain or give me advice for how can i run opengl under the DOS. Thanks…

Hi,

read the specs of OpenGL! As I understand them it is not possible to do that.

And anyways why the heck would someone want to do that???

Greets,

Martin

OpenGL calls are made through a openGL driver made by the card mfg. Since 99% of computer users use a windows interface, the video card people only make the openGL drivers for windows.

I know of no company that writes dos based openGL drivers for thier cards.

Mesa has a renderer for DOS.
