Please Help ...Textures

Hey people,

got two problems

  • when looking at textures on an angle they blur and look cloudy.

  • Also I have a house scene and one face of the house wall has direct sunlight and the texture looks great with my bump map but the the wall right next to it is in the shade with no sun on it but this shaded wall looks cloudy and you can’t see the texture applied to it or the nice bumpy surface.

Any thoughts please?

  • play around with your texture min-filtering options (e.g. bilinear, mipmap, anisotropic) until you like it.

  • lots of rendering things going on there: types of texture maps, types of shadows, types of lights, normals, angle of view, etc…
