i had a read through the game readme and there was a section that said this.

Windows xp

Video Card Drivers

-Some video card drivers do not support OpenGL correctly. Typical
problems that may occur with these drivers include:

  • Crashing on starting up
  • Crashing when changing video resolutions
  • Corrupted textures
  • Garbage artifacts on screen
  • Unexpected bright flashing on screen
  • Unusually slow performance.

The solution is to go to your video card manufacturer’s website
and download updated drivers for your card. It is highly
recommended that, given an option, you download and install
Microsoft-certified (WHQL) drivers.

thats exactly what mine does(crashes on startup).

i went to the nvidia website. ( i have a : NVIDIA RIVA TNT2 model 64/model 64 pro )
but there is so many drivers to download. i dont have a clue. i thought this would be the best place to ask about.

if you could help that would be great.

thanks.

If you have Windows XP:

http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_71.84.html

that doesnt work. i download it and run the installer and it says something like

“the installer couldnt find any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware. it will now exit”

help :frowning:
