OpenGL Projection

Hi guys,

I have a question. I’ve got this exam tomorrow on OpenGL and one of the questions is: how are projections built in openGL?

I looked it up and all i found were a few lines of code, but our teacher is expecting no code, just an explanation.

Can you help me?
