I had this problem before…I recieved my computer and like everyone knows…XP doesn’t support OpenGL. So I downloaded the new Ati Rage 128 pro drivers for Xp and OpenGl enablement. It worked for me no problem…playing gmaes like MOHAA, SOF2, etc. A year later and I had to format my computer so I go to install the drivers for my video card again and guess what…beforeinstalation is complete it is saying that the driver is not compatable with the display adapter…what the ****?? I’ve tried everything and anything. If anyone else had this problem with the ATI RAGE 128 Pro driver please give me a hand or if anyone has any ideas, it would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried using an older driver from ATI?
Have you considered that its possible such an old card has simply lived its life and now needs replaced?
