openGL 1.2

I’m having truoble with multitexturing under windows 98, using msvc++ 6.0. It wont compile becuase things such as GL_TEXTURE0_ARB aren’t defined, I asume I have old headers but cant find new ones.I’m prolly being thick here but any enlightenment would be greatly apreciated.
