nVidia Missing and Per Game Config

GE4 Ti 4200 v56.56 drivers. Had to install v56.56 for Battlefield Vietnam. Subsequently fired up Quake II recently. Went to set FSAA and found the OpenGL config panel/tab is gone. Found out from a buddy that according to nVidia, game developers are coding incorrectly and to get games to work correctly nVidia make you configure the driver on a per game basis. There’s a new config pull-down tab.

So, how are we supposed to configure OpenGL?

Also, I shouldn’t have to configure my driver on a per game basis.

Anybody know anything about this?

Never heard of it…

Nvidia card… many OpenGL games… no individual configuring…

It’s in the release notes for 56.72
Read “OPENGL BASED GAMES CRASH!!”

Looks like they’ve hidden the OpenGL tab behind a generic interface.

Nope, still don’t see it… maybe you could post the page number.

I don’t think it would help you.

You don’t see it because it’s not there
