I’m fully aware of the problem, but im not up to date in terms of how its progress. Is there a fix? A way around? I would love to play Oni on my laptop so any help or insight would be much appreciated.

Well, FWIW you’re not alone. ONI’s great on my desktop machine, but unplayable on my Tecra 8000 with the 256AV.
