It’s not a common pratice, it is the way it is done. Why will you have twice the same library (with saying they both have the same version) in the same path ? How a program or the kernel choose which one to use ?
You’ll tell me GL is a bit different because it can choose regarding the card. This will also imply a first step choosing the card and/or the driver, hence that is the subject of the post.
I don’t think this is the default Microsoft Opengl.dll that routes to the appropriate driver. This will pervert the purposes of that library.
I guess now that making a try is the best thing to do for confirming or not what we said.
