That’s about the size of it. The graphic textures don’t even look like text-- they’re repeated and look like they could be walls or floors in the game.
This happened with Unreal and Quake II, which work fine with software rendering. Then I tried Cro-Mag Rally and there it was again.
For the record: G4/500 w/ 2xAGP, with either OS 9.2.2 or 9.0.4, and both have the same trouble.
