Looking for a good glFrustum tut.

Help me out here. I’m trying to use glFrustum - but my volumes seem to be rather distorted. I’ve gotten a close approximation, but it’s still not right. Help me out!

And yes, I know about gluPerspective - but I want to LEARN about glFrustum.


I suspect that the distance between the camera/eye and the object is too close. You may want to move forward the near clipping plane and see what happens.

did you take the window ration into account.

ratio = width/height

glFrustum( ratioleft, ratioright, bottom, top, near, far );

where left, right, bottom and top are the same in your case I believe.
