using the light: For every face is necessary to specify a normal? there is a way to avoid this?



No, the lighting calculation needs a normal. Why would you want to avoid this?

Because if i have a scene with a large numebr of items? i need to set a normal for every item??

If you want your objects appear lit, then you must set the normal of each vertex.
