I’m trying to load a photo and draw it onscreen. The image dimensions are something like 2500x1500. The image just shows up as random video memory. Smaller images work fine, including smaller non-power-of-two images. The program works fine on Windows. I calculated the data size, and it’s only about 24 mb. My Mac’s ATI 5750 should be fine with that. I even tried breaking the image up into 1024x1024 tiles, and that still produced the same result!
Are there any known issues when displaying large textures on OSX? Has anyone else encountered this?
