Yes, this is fine. Vulkan has a concept called “layers” which allows applications to inject functionality into applications. When you install the Epic Games Launcher it installs such an implicit layer which is most probably used to display an overlay when running Vulkan Games in the Epic Games Launcher. So nothing to worry about.
