Intel C++ Compiler(Hyperthreading) with OpenGL & GLUT

Hi, anybody has tried the Intel’s C++ compiler that had been optimized for hyperthreading in their new p4s and Xeons, on opengl & glut codes. I would like to know whether it will intend optimize the application. I’m doing an opengl program with glut in Windows environment (using VS 6.0) and would like to know whether it will improve the performance. (My lab has a dual p4 Xeon machine)
