I have code examples using diferent image formats. Most comon is windows DIB aka BMP is a good idea to use it. I also have seen TGA and I have a demo using PNG. What is the best? none? is it better to create a custom file format?
I use TGA with a 32 bit structure, so you can give each image an alpha channel.

I just dl the image format from truevisions ftp. Sounds good to me. I have noticed professional games using the format in big chunks. thanks for the input :]
