I bought a palit-daytona geforce fx5700 graphics card and when i try to run certain games(for example counter strike)the game crashes(no matter if is on opengl or direct 3d) and no image is displayed on the monitor anymore.i tried to install other drivers but it didn’t work,the game was crashing in different ways.sometimes the monitor was acting as i unplugged the video cable out of the graphic card(all this was happening only when i was trying to click on “new game” or “options”,etc.
I have a pentiumIII with 1000MHz,512mbram
directx9 installed,mainboard Qdi advance12 with agp4X.
Maybe the card eats too much power from AGP ?
