I am in a intro graphic class now, and my prof didn’t give us any hint how to start things… I am wondering a lot of questions. Can someone help me?
1.) I don’t know how to start off… Is there a good tutorial site for newbie?
2.) If I want to use the opengl library in dos/win environment, what program should I download/installed?
3.) Same question as above, but what about programming in unix environment?

Take a look at http://nehe.gamedev.net/
There are some good tutorials there and I have some simple OpenGL things on my page as well.

But I don’t even know if I have the right program…I have a old Borland Turbo C++, and it doesn’t have windows.h … that kinda things… and what else do I need?
btw, what about Mesa… what’s that?

Mesa is a sort of OpenGL-clone, it is mostly used in free OS:es like Linux and FreeBSD.
