How to choose preferred graphics device?

Hi,

In the case where 2 capable devices are available in the system e.g. a GPU and a software rasterizer like Mesa’s llvmpipe, is there a way -either programmatically or via environment variables, something like Vulkan’s VK_DRIVER_FILES- to force the use of one or the other?

Mesa has LIBGL_ALWAYS_INDIRECT and LIBGL_ALWAYS_SOFTWARE, and some driver-specific ones.
