How realistic can COLLADA look?

I have been browsing the Google Warehouse area and seen lots of 3D designs which are correct in proportion, benefit from real time shading (as 3D does) but they just look Virtua Fighter like. Take for example this design: … n#/d3hnbof

Im sure it could be made but would it be possible to make the colours and shading come through as well?


It can look photorealistic given the appropriate shaders in the content and rendering support in the software.

Have you got any examples of this?

I should have mentioned before, but I neglected to mention that the textures for the surfaces would have to be vectors (i.e. mathematical) and not rasterised.
