How do I define MAX texture memory allocation of a 3d card ?

Hi nice people !

How do I know it’s maximum texture allocation size ? for eg on a Riva TNT1 with 16 mb… how can I get it’s max texture allocation = (x) mb ??? not size (@ 1024x1024)

now you know my old config hehe…

-if I have 2 voodoo2(SLI) I have 24mb of video memory… I know that 16mb is fill memory isn’t it ???

So I only have 8 mb of memory, that’s not much !!! So passing texture data from memory to my 2 cards is HELL slow isn’t it ???

Sorry for my poor knowledge, but do the AGP norm has been set for this reason ?
