MCD: Mini Client Driver
ICD: Installable Client Driver
You need one of these for your card.
Go to your card vendors web site and download the latest driver. If it says it supports OpenGL then you should have one of the above installed.
If your card doesn’t support it, then use SGI’s software implementation of opengl. There are links to it on this web-site.

You said to use the SGI OpenGL software drivers. Why not to use the Microsoft ones (shipped with Windows)?

The SGI libs are optimized a lot. I used them for a while and they seemed OK, supported a couple of extensions I was using.
Just a recommendation. Use what you like.
