Headers/Lib for Opengl 1.3

Does Microsoft have Opengl 1.2 or 1.3 headers and/or lib’s available ? Or do I have to go get the headers from sgi. I mean I would think microsoft would update their headers but in the newest (November 2001) header/lib update for visual c++ 6.0 the gl.h is still version 1.1

So whats up look to microsoft or SGI ?

Thanks but that doesn’t help. I know my hardware opengl32.dll supports 1.3 but the header’s and libs from microsoft for compiling are for 1.1

I really don’t care about a software based 1.2 or 1.3 dll. I just wanted to know if people just use the sgi 1.3 headers or if there are 1.2/1.3 headers from microsoft or anyone other than sgi for that matter.

It was mentioned on the front page a while ago.

Microsoft is not going to release their opengl 1.2/3 libraries, to be more specific: opengl32.dll and glu32.dll.
One thing to know is that they provide wgl functions and an interface to your card’s ICD. The only way to get the ogl 1.2 specific capabilities is via extensions. Don’t ever expect MS, or any company, will work for its disadvantage and have developers stay away from Direct3D. Get it?
