Has anyone used Vulkan with NVidia to render straight to VR HMD screen?


I’m trying to use the open source VR runtime Monado on my Intel+NVidia Ubuntu PC but it’s not able to do the display straight to the HMD which is needed to keep refresh sync and frame rate.

So I was wondering if anyone here had done that themselves? Or have any advice?
There is a message asking about this on the NVidia forum since October but no-one has replied so I thought I’d ask here!
